Aftercare

Permanent makeup treatments entail a healing period during which the risk of infection is present. On top of that, freshly injected pigments are prone to premature fading and unattractive patchiness if the area isn’t properly looked after.

MICROBLADING and powder brow

  • Avoid wetting your brows while taking showers.

  • Avoid long steamy showers for 7 days.

  • Avoid touching treated area with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid any makeup on treated area for 7-10 days.

  • Clean brows for 7 days with damp cotton pad/disk.

  • Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor on brows for 7 days after cleaning.

  • On the 7th day after procedure was face including brows with mild soap.

  • Do not pick on the cab, if any appears, it will go away on it's own.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure.

  • Avoid using retinol, Retin-A, Vitamin C serums or creams, also avoid chemical peels.

  • Avoid facial for 4 weeks.

  • Avoid steam room and gym for 2 weeks.

eyeliner

What to Expect:
​- Mild swelling, redness, or a tight feeling around the eyes is normal for the first 1-3 days.
- The eyeliner may appear darker or thicker initially
- this will fade and soften as it heals.- Some scabbing or flaking is normal
- do not pick or peel the area.

First 24 Hours:
- Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes.
- Do not apply any creams, ointments, or makeup.- Keep the area dry
- avoid water, sweat, or steam.

Days 2-10:
- Gently cleanse the eye area using a damp cotton pad or fragrance-free wipe once or twice daily. Avoid scrubbing.
- Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment (only if recommended by your artist)
.- Avoid water exposure, sweating, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming
.- No eye makeup (mascara, eyeliner, or eye creams) until fully healed.

Avoid for 10 Days:
- Direct sun or tanning beds
- Makeup and skincare around the eyes
-Facial treatments, chemical peels, or lasers
- Rubbing or picking at the treated area- Sleeping on your face

Additional Tips:
- Use a clean pillowcase and avoid letting pets near your face during healing.
- If your eyes feel dry, you may use preservative-free artificial tears, avoiding the lash line.
- Full healing takes about 7-10 days, with final results settling over 4-6 weeks.

Lips

  • Avoid touching treated area with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid long steamy showers for 7 days.

  • Avoid hot or spicy food for first few days.

  • Keep the lips moisturized at all times with new lip balm or apply a thin layer of Aquaphor during the day.

  • Do not share utensils or cups first few days after procedure.

  • Do not apply makeup for 7-10 days after procedure.

  • Avoid pool/salt water for 7-10 days after procedure.

  • Do not pick scabs, if any appear.
